SILVADUR™ odour technology

Next we treat it with SILVADUR™, an antimicrobial technology that helps control odour. It works by delivering a low concentration of silver ions to the fabric surface using a patented controlled-release system.

When odour-causing bacteria land on the fabric, the silver ions neutralise them on contact, so the smell never gets the chance to set in.

It's engineered to stay effective through more than 50 washes, and to resist breaking down from heat or bleach. It's not a coating that fades after a few laundry cycles, it's built into the fabric for the life of the shirt.

Dual-layer construction

Underneath your arms and across your upper back there is a cotton and bamboo padding layer stitched between the MicroModal. It's there for one job: soak up sweat before it has any chance of reaching the shirt you're actually wearing.
